Are the properties really within footsteps of the beach?
Yes, the condos are built as close to the beach as permitted. Condo 7 (the house) is behind the condos but still within footsteps of the beach.
Is there always sand beach?
Due to variations in water levels which impact the shoreline, the number of feet of sand beach changes from year to year.
Is the area safe for swimming?
The area is very safe for swimming. The shoreline in this area of the peninsula does not have any significant dropoffs and children can safely wade into the water for several meters. Children always need to be supervised and despite the safe water levels, we strongly advise against the use of flotation devices on Lake Michigan, the Bay of Green Bay and inland lakes. Currents and wind can blow a child on a flotation device much faster than an adult can run or swim after the child.
Is Sunrise Shores kid-friendly?
At Sunrise Shores and the adjacent rentals, children are ever-present. We advise that parents and families always supervise their children at the beach and in common areas.
Can we camp, smoke, use fireworks or have pets on the premises?
Prior to securing a rental, all tenants will be asked to sign a rental agreement. The Homeowner's Association of Sunrise Shores has expectations in place to promote the safety, enjoyment and well-being of owners and guests. Therefore, the following are not permitted in the units or anywhere on the premises.
Camping, campers and tents
Smoking
Pets
Parties with underage drinkers
Parties with excessive noise
Fires & flames that exceed the height of firepits
Fireworks
